The Premier Gospel Awards is a highly anticipated date on the gospel music calendar, and seeks to shine a light on the scene whilst giving a platform for emerging and established artists. Premier Gospel have welcomed thousands of people to the 4 past live events and the broadcasts on Premier Gospel radio, plus a worldwide audience.

The biggest and most dedicated gospel music event in the UK

The Premier Gospel Awards celebrate the best in UK Gospel music across a range of genres and features performances by leading artists. The evening consists of ten awards given which includes Best Album, Best Video, Best Male Vocalist, Best Female Vocalist, Best Song, Best Group and Choir of the Year. Winners for these hotly-contested categories are chosen by a panel of industry experts.

The Best Newcomer, Best International Act and the NEW for 2024 Best Worship Group winners are chosen by Premier Gospel listeners through a public vote. The evening also features a number of performances from a world-wide range of artists. Past performers have included Guvna B, Anita Wilson, Faich Child, CalledOut Music, Becca Folkes and Sam Henshaw. To round off a spectacular evening, a celebratory concert is held at the end of the evening.
